My name in Malcolm Green, I am an accredited psychotherapist working in Limerick. I would like to welcome you to my website. People come along to see me for many reasons. We all have difficulties in life to deal with but sometimes these difficulties can become overwhelming and unmanageable with no apparent solution. Some of the issues I encounter include:
TYPES OF THERAPY
I value each person's individuality and unique circumstances recognising that no one theory holds the truth, and that deep and lasting change is possible at any stage of life. My experience and training includes working with a range of approaches and strategies.
COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY (CBT)
Cognitive behavioural therapy, or CBT, is a short-term therapy technique that can help people find new ways to behave by changing their thought patterns.
MINDFULNESS THERAPY
Through mindfulness we can train ourselves to be more aware of our thoughts, to take a step back from the constant flow of thoughts and be less controlled by them.
